We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our fast-growing team, work closely with the product and design teams, and report to the experienced Team lead.

The Role


As Senior Automation QA Engineer you will collaborate with development & project management teams to help guide the testing strategy of Wayv Platform projects.  You will report to QA Lead and work closely with Team Lead.


What You Bring to The Table


  • 1.5 + years of automation testing; 

  • Familiarity and understanding of Agile methodologies;

  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools;

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (JavaScript is preferable);

  • Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with HTML, CSS;

  • Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL);

  • Experience with version control systems;

  • Desire to learn and develop programming skills;

  • Desire to write the qualitative code which can be maintained;

  • Good knowledge of test automation approaches; 

  • Software testing background; 

  • Experience with Test documentation; 

  • Good written and verbal English & communication skills;


Would be a great plus


  • Selenium experience;

  • Developing of automation framework from scratch;

  • Practical knowledge of Continuous Integration tools; 

  • Web services testing




  • Support Software Development Lifecycle Releases as an automation team member;

  • Support and extend current testing framework; 

  • Development, permoning and maintenance of the automation tests; 

  • Simulate production environment by building a test harness to test and automate complex use cases;

  • Identify and analyze the root problems and requirements to propose a suitable solution; 

  • Prepare test report after the test sessions and highlight any potential quality risks;

  • Close collaboration with Development team.

  • What’s the size and structure of the team?

    • There  are 3 dev teams (4 people in each team): Team lead, Full Stack Engineer, Front End engineer and Back End Engineer. And 3 people in QA team: QA Lead, Senior QA Engineer and Middle QA engineer.

  • Is there a probation period?

    • Yes, 3 months

  • What’s the schedule of work?

    • We don’t have clear time slots when you’re obliged to be at the office. The most important thing - your work must be done :slightly_smiling_face:

  • Is there a possibility to work remotely?

    • Sure, if it’s needed

  • How many days of vacation are there?

    • We practice unlimited vacation policy.
